just a reminder, think I've said already but I cannot make any games until Friday the 13th. Off to hospital for the usual checkups so cannot even access the Internet. The wonders of the modern NHS :-) once back can manage games that start by 8 PM UK time.

Donalia great play this weekend. We held our own and both went 2-2 over the weekend. I am looking forward to playing with you as a teammate, I am really not that good at or fond of heads-up but it was a learning experience.

Alan I will touch base with my former DT teammate and try to think of others, with Don out for awhile and Dani not available on weekends, it would be nice to find another player.

A great tournament, and there were no easy games so finishing second was excellent, perhaps helped by occasional payments to the dealer :-). If we play like this I think we'll have a very good league season, plus it was also great fun and a good laugh. Hi twinsfan it would be nice if you tell me some dates you can play since its really us two that are most free for time right now.It would also help alot if you can get your friend on the team so we can start giving teams some dates to play. We still have until the 15th so no rush.

The best times for me in the next two weeks are M,Tu, Th, Fri after 21:30 GMT,cannot play at all next two weekends, I am gone 4/7 and 4/8 and 4/14 and 4/15. I know these times are pretty late for everyone in Europe but if there are other specific times and dates I can try to make it work. I think there is a good chance Dani will play if we do the game during the week and not on a weekend.

The other player is still not back from her trip hopefully she will be later this week.

tuesdays,thursdays, and fridays are good for me. Just need to hear from Dani, so when you have time can you please post Dani, thanks.

I can't play on Saturday until next month.
I can't play on any Sunday.
I can't play on any first Friday of the month.
I can't play on Wednesdays. (unless they are early games like 8:00pm UK time)

I can play on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, any other Friday and after next month -some Saturdays.

I can rarely play with any any advanced warning of at least three hours, so being a sub isn't usually an option for me.

I very much would like to try to never play Omaha in my life.
I'm always sorry that I do, and it most always does my head in before the game is half over.

So, we have an Hold'em and an Omaha league and allowed only 6 players per team?

We are only allowed 6 players period, its not seperate teams with holdem and omaha its just one team of 6 playing both holdem and omaha. Lol I am really suprised you never played team omaha before.

Well, because I'm damn good at avoidance...heh.

I understand it's one team having to play both kinds of games...and I'm the only one who won't play Omaha,
(I believe y'all have forsaken hold'em and it's played as sort of an after thought around here...lol)


Just know that I will not be playing any Omaha league game, and schedule accordingly.

Yeah true, I use to whine about having to play omaha but kept an openmind especially when I have to step in if our team is short. This is why I can releate to dani's dislike of omaha, though I also feel sometimes you gotta take one for the team.
